Pentangle Engineering Services has been announced as a regional finalist in the Make UK Manufacturing Awards, having been shortlisted in the Small Business of the Year category.
Make UK is the body that represents over twenty thousand manufacturing companies across the UK. The Manufacturing Awards, which will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham in November, recognise the achievements of businesses and apprentices from across the Midlands and East region.
Nigel Rivers, managing director of Pentangle, said “Like many businesses, we saw a sharp downturn during the pandemic. But thanks to the dedication and resilience of our teams, we got through and are now experiencing our best ever year for new orders. Being shortlisted for this prestigious award is a testament to the hard work of everyone in the business”.
Pentangle employs 28 people and provides robotics and automation solutions along with fabrication and welding services. If successful in the regional awards, Pentangle will go through to the national finals in January.
