THE PROJECT:
Pentangle Engineering Services was recommended to UTS by a mutual contact. UTS needed a welding lathe for its aluminium scaffolding, which would weld different fittings onto different lengths of tube, a process that was being manually carried out.
Based on a “waterwheel” end changer system, the machine provided by Pentangle enables the operator to unload and load a new component whilst a component is being automatically welded and cleaned, dramatically increasing production capacity, welding quality and consistency.
THE FEEDBACK:
